This October, an ancient song begins to echo beneath the waters of MarineLab’s Emerald Lagoon. According to legend, a siren was cursed to remain below the surface, calling unsuspecting visitors closer with every haunting note. The deeper you venture, the harder it becomes to resist The Siren’s Curse.

Join us for our free Annual Haunted Lagoon, where more than 250 spooky splashers gather for a night of Halloween fun, eerie adventures, and underwater mystery in Key Largo.

Start your evening on land with tricks and treats for all ages, including hot dogs, popcorn, Halloween desserts, candy, games, marine science activities, sea slugs and sea stars, crafts, face painting, a photo booth, plankton races, and mystery boxes filled with slimy surprises.

Then, only the bravest guests will enter the Haunted Tunnel, where cursed sailors, ghostly sea creatures, and warnings from the deep reveal that the siren is near. For those who dare, the final challenge awaits in the Haunted Lagoon. Guided by MarineLab staff, snorkelers will enter the dark water and come face-to-face with the cursed siren haunting the depths around Jules’ Undersea Lab.
